5/13/2021. Urban Decay’s New Collection Celebrates Prince’s Legacy In A Beautiful Way.

Wende Zomnir‘s love of Prince goes back to when she was a child in the ’80s. Like millions of devoted fans, Prince was “everything” to the Urban Decay founder. “My sister and I were completely obsessed with Prince,” Zomnir tells Refinery29. “His music, the way he dresses, the way he did his makeup — we tried to copy him in every way.”

If you’re a dedicated prepper, you’ve already got your bug-out bag, coronavirus prepping and pandemic prepping sorted out, with shelves full of rice and beans and bottles of water and gasoline. But for the rest of us, those trying to keep living our fairly normal lives while stuck at home, the stuff that can help us stay happier and more comfortable through the coming fall and winter months looks a little bit different. My focus has been on staying healthy, happy and engaged while shopping less and minimizing contact with others, and I’ve found some great gear that helps do all that in several different ways.

4/10/19. What Not to Wear returns to Discovery Channel.

The unscripted series that aired from 2003 to 2013 is one of a slew of franchise and branded programs coming to Discovery Inc. channels as the enlarged company bulks up to stay competitive in its lifestyle, entertainment and unscripted programming niches.

“What Not to Wear” featured two stylists working with fashion- and beauty-challenged people to give them a total makeover on a $5,000 budget. Stacy London was among the celebrity stylists who gained fame on the show. It’s not immediately clear how many of the original participants will be involved in the revival. 

The “What Not to Wear” revival was among the dozens programs unveiled Wednesday at Discovery’s upfront presentation at Alice Tully Hall.
